These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the services provided by Robyn Doolan (hereinafter "we," "our," or "us"). By engaging with our services, including medical writing, health and wellness content, and other related services, you (the "Client") agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Scope of Services

We offer a range of services, including but not limited to medical writing, content creation, literature reviews, clinical summaries, and health and wellness articles. We will provide services as agreed upon in writing or through email correspondence.

2. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide all necessary information, including medical data, research, or client-specific guidelines, to enable us to fulfill the work. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the materials provided.

3. Payment Terms

Payment for services will be agreed upon before work begins. Unless otherwise stated, payments are due in full upon completion of the project, unless a payment schedule has been outlined.

4. Deadlines

We will provide an estimated timeline for each project. While we strive to meet deadlines, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. We will keep the Client informed of any delays and work with them to accommodate changes where possible.

5. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We understand the importance of confidentiality, especially in medical writing and health-related projects. All information provided by the Client will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without prior consent unless required by law. This includes personal data as described under the Privacy Policy.

  • GDPR Compliance: We are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. We will only collect, store, and use your data for the purpose of fulfilling the contracted services, and you may request access to or deletion of your data at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

The Client retains ownership of any intellectual property they provide. Upon full payment, the Client will be granted ownership of the final work product created by us. However, we reserve the right to use excerpts or samples from the work in our portfolio and for marketing purposes unless otherwise agreed upon.

7. Accuracy and Disclaimer

While we strive to provide accurate and reliable information, all content is created to the best of our knowledge and based on the information provided by the Client and available at the time of writing. However, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of the content for any particular purpose.

Our work is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns or decisions.

Disclaimer: The information we provide in our writing is for educational and informational purposes only. While we make every effort to ensure that the content is based on credible sources, we are not responsible for any actions taken based on this information. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that any advice or content we provide is appropriate for their needs.

8. Liability Limitations

We will not be liable for any damages, losses, or legal liabilities arising from the use of our services or the content provided. Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service provided.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time by providing written notice. If the Client terminates the agreement, they will be responsible for payment for work completed up until the termination date. If we terminate the agreement, any uncompleted work will be refunded to the Client.

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are provided at our discretion. If a project is cancelled due to issues on our part (e.g., failure to deliver the agreed-upon services), we will issue a refund for the amount paid for the work that has not been delivered. Refunds will not be provided for work that has been delivered and accepted by the Client.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.
